Hi there!
This has been a fun week of sewing, so far!
I've made 2 more Bitty Bugpacks in gorgeous Liberty fabrics destined for my Etsy shop. I hope my customers love them as much as I do.

All the components are exactly the same as a full-size backpack, just miniature!
They are perfect when you only need to carry a small amount of stuff. Wear it at a theme park, on a cruise or just in addition to your full-size bag as a fun bag charm and somewhere to keep small items at hand.
There will be more added very soon!
My other make has been project bags. I'm slowly honing my quilting skills and I've had my eye on the ByAnnie Project Bags 2.0 for a while now.
In addition to the pattern and the usual sewing machine and notions you'll also need:
- ByAnnie Soft and Stable
- ByAnnie Premium Clear Vinyl
- Zipper or zipper by the yard and zipper pulls
Quilting fabric - Interfacing
The main body of the bag is quilted and I chose to just do vertical lines 1" apart. I marked the lines with a friction pen for accuracy or you could use an air-erasing pen. I have been told that friction pen marks can come back if exposed to very cold temperatures!
The quilting (for me) is the easy part. I'm still very much learning the binding part. It's a process. It's ok to suck at something for a while and I can definitely see an improvement.
I totally love those naughty cats on the fabric! Do you have a cat that likes to 'help' in the sewing room?
The pattern has instructions for 4 sizes
- Small
- Medium
- Large
- Jumbo
